Haupai has been competing on the New Zealand darts circuit seriously since 2017 and is making inroads into professional darts on an international scale. He thrives on pressure, and loves the challenges that the game offers. He's also an excellent golfer who was the winner of NZ Maori Golf Matchplay championship in 2010 and 2012.
