NZ Darts Council Championships 2026 Recap!

What a week it was! From 28 June to 3 July, the best of New Zealand darts descended on Hamilton for the NZ Darts Council Championships, and Shot Darts was proud to be right in the thick of it.

Phil, Josh and the team set up our pop-up sales booth for the week, meeting players, chatting darts, and soaking up the atmosphere. Being an official partner of the NZ Darts Council Championships is something we take a lot of pride in, and this year's tournament didn't disappoint. Josh our Shot Darts Operations Manager entered in the men's open and made NZ #1 Jonny Tata sweat in the knockouts : ).

It was great to see so many of our Shot Players representing us over the week and giving it their all. Well done to everyone involved, a massive effort by the entire Shot team. We managed to snap some action shots along the way too, check them out below.

A huge shout-out to Nicole Regnaud, who claimed Gold in the NZ Ladies Singles and the NZ Open Ladies. And congratulations to Haupai and Kawhena Puha, who took out the NZ Darts Council Husband and Wife Championship. What a duo!

Thanks also to the NZ Darts Council for all their hard work organising the event, and to everyone who stopped by the Shot Darts booth for a chat, it was good to see so many familiar faces. We're already looking forward to next year's Nationals.
